So we had a blizzard a few days ago. I wasn’t very impressed by the blizzard, but we actually did get a lot of snow.

I like the idea of taking one big photo, and then focusing in on a few little details from it. I’ve tried to do it before to only marginal effect, but I think it worked a lot better in this series.

This is a really neat idea. I actually like the last two close-ups better, but it’s kind of neat how the close ups sort of bring more meaning to the original once you see them.
I agree, the two close-ups are better photos. It turns out to be remarkably difficult to get the effect right. It’s something I’d like to experiment with more in the future, though.
