A few weeks ago we went to visit some friends in Chicago, and went walking around this frozen lake where there must have been a couple hundred geese. It was really cool! I kept hoping that they would all take off and fly at once, but they never did, and I thought I would be kindof a jerk if I ran onto the ice to scare them into the air. Plus, I didn’t want to fall in.
