Another contest from the Worth1000 site was to try to take a photograph that captured one of the five senses, namely sight. I didn’t enter this contest either, but I took a stab at the idea. I think I like the result, but it could probably use a bit more work:

I will say that getting something to be in focus through a lens through glasses is kindof a pain. I’m not sure if the glass in the glasses is just poor quality, or if there’s something else going on here.

The glass in the glasses is fine, but it’s a prescription and isn’t homogenous across the lens. I’m not surprised you had a tough time focusing through them. Interesting pictures, though.
Great concept, but a lot of distraction. Increased dof might have helped.
