As promised, I’m going to try to post some non-52-weeks challenge shots on here this year! Maybe this doesn’t count, because it’s from a class I took from Chelsea back in July of last year, but it was definitely a fun experience. This also is unique in that (I think) it’s the first photos that have appeared on this blog that were shot on a phone camera.
During the class, we were supposed to find something around our house to create a photo essay about; it should have an establishing shot, a focus shot, and a “details” shot. And we were supposed to be deliberate about the story we were trying to tell over the course of the essay. Anyways, here’s what I did:
I really enjoyed this exercise, even though the subject maybe wasn’t the most dramatic or exciting — I’m hoping to get to experiment more with this type of multi-image essay in the future as well.
