A few weeks ago we were on vacation in Costa Rica. I had the opportunity to borrow a 75-300mm f/4-5.6 lens from a friend, and I am so glad I did! It allowed me to get some stunning shots of the native wildlife there. Over the next week or so, I’m going to be posting up some of my most favourite pictures from the trip. We’ll start off with these three:
1/2000s, f/6.3, ISO-400, 300mm - A roseate spoonbill, ready to mate.
1/200s, f/5.6, ISO-200, 300mm - A little blue heron that was riding the wind in front of our boat.
1/400s, f/5.6, ISO-400, 300mm - Two howler monkeys. These guys are loud!
